Date with Fate
This has been happening in fact in times before you and I
That everything that have life someday must die
Therefore this we cannot hesitate nor even procrastinate
Because there in no way of avoiding that final date with fate.
This we know and it is quite right
No matter what all living things time is finite
See that tree standing for over a century
Someday its time will come eventually
Yes thought we all know that this is a given condition
Do not let this deter anyone form making a worthy contribution
Remember no matter the volume and extent of any accolade
Cannot that date with your destiny delayed or protect you from a grave.
In life you may be degrees by some very prestigious institutions
Served you country, family and company with great distinction
You may work hard and long hours to make sure things go right
But no matter what that time will come when you have to say good night
You may be the most successful in your family tree
In your expertise you may acquire great wealth that will be a legacy
And on many memories and times will be always present
The trail left by your caring and hardworking foot print
Being proactive leaving some continuity for your descendant
Leaving them in a situation where they will find ready employment
Like the mantis who sacrifice himself to nourish his generation
At the moment of his instinctive and sole copulation.
We all know the sorrow this date with one's destiny brings
But this respects no one its hands touches both pauper and kings
How contrasting we were nurtured in a warm and protective womb
Then in the end we provide nourishment in a cold and dark tomb.
