She'd always sit with me
before the computer there was just tv,
she was so much more than just a friend.
Then one night she said i'm not scared you know,
i saw angels fly by the window.
She said sally those angels God did send.
Her faith could move a mountain
but her body so frail and thin,
hard for my frightened eyes to see.
I just had to hold on,
to the hope that her pain soon be gone.
She said sally God is waiting for me.
I took care of her the best i could
my earth angel helped like i knew he would,
but there was nothing more we could do.
For she knew her time had come at last,
all her pain now in the past.
She said sally God and i are thanking both of you!
