Heartfelt Circumstances
Another day becomes in me
A mission failed, my cries to thee
Sometimes it seems that you don't hear
My greatest loss, our greatest fear
Seek your face, acknowledge you
You, I am who pulled me through
The canyons that I fell into
Where darkness calls and caught me too
This sentiment that hangs my soul
Like some painting once young more old
Where canvas cracks my color scheme
Along with all that we do dream
Chase I do your light to keep
What you have done for me to leap
Into your arms just once again
To you Father, my closest friend
Circumstances seem to hinder me
To have and hold what my heart sees
A chance to breathe, if for this hour
Today I kneel in fear I cower
You made all things that surround me
My soul that calls for to my leave
To rest again upon your shoulder
Forget my needs, my want to hold her
Speak to me the words to bend
Bring my cause, our need to spend
Time given to comprehend
Accept again what I can't tend
My needs are small and yours are great
My heart empty but not your plate
It's where I need to come again
To feed of you, bring hunger to an end
Yet though I walk again to you
Questions burst forth of love I knew
For this dear father you placed in me
This man with heart, of common pleas
