HAS ANYONE SEEN MY BRAIN?

I slipped and fell and I think
I have lost it
What is this thing about aging?
You drop things right in your hand
I was carrying this ladder up the stairs
My brain said go carefully up
I fell backwards and crashed through the door
That threw me against the wall
The light fixture crashed and broke
And I forgot how to get up
Has anyone seen my brain?
Coordination long since gone
I said, "Someone call 11-9!"
Wife said, "What happened did you fall?"
Reality she said, "You dumb---!"
Or, "What did you break now!"
"Can you help me find my brain?"
I knew it was somewhere in the rubble
I wasn't the one who paid nine hundred for a door?
So it has been in one day and there is a chip
Someone is doing something important--me!
"Has anyone found my brain?"
It is virtually unused and quite valuable
If I find my brain I am going to say go down
But without a brain my knees don't know how to get up
Wife is sweeping up the damage and forgetting me
Oh, there is my brain, "You want the ladder go get it!"
