Fade To Black
The past at times we dwell upon
Days of old, today long gone
Are viewed in mind like private screening
Where heart and soul will share day dreaming
Hold to things not understood
Testing metal and time withstood
With hope your dues have all been paid
These trials of past the black to fade
Venture one does into these moments
To think again that you so own it
But in this chase of nightmares past
Upon your soul great shadows cast
Of love and need of unborn seed
Of dreams you had but not believed
Today reruns these reels of old
Rain upon on your very soul
Fade to black is what you do
The inner part inside of you
Where time once stood for something more
Rewound today in ticker stored
