RIVER OF LIFE
Life is a flowing river
Endowed with many moods
It can be a raging tempest
Or serenity imbued
It winds and it meanders
Through placid plains of bliss
Riding calm currents on daydreams
Rife with infinite promise
It sometimes swirls in eddies
It sometimes lies quite still
Existing can seem like a vortex
Or mindless, unending quadrille
It rushes and it tumbles
Through vistas uncontrolled
Turning life to foaming rapids
Mortal dangers yet untold
As you roam down that river
No matter where it leads -
Be it vale, or plain, or apex
Aim to minimize misdeeds
We live our lives as rivers
Each follows their own course
Trying to reach a destiny
Perfected without remorse
Yes life is a flowing river
Endowed with many moods
Swell with every drop of adventure
Before your passage concludes.
