With Father's Day just around the corner;
My thoughts scan my memories gathered.
Remembering those wonderful good times;
Keeping alive those memories in my heart.
It has been over five years since you passed;
I still can hear your words ringing in my heart.
With every orange soda and cheese nabs;
With every time I venture on the dance floor.
Every time I hit a golf ball straight and long;
Every time I look into my grandson's smile.
Sweeping my soul with joy are these memories;
Times of joy, times of grace, times of you, Dad.
Happy Father's Day, Dad.
