 The Look of Love
Many years love passed one by
Heartfelt filled with tears and sighs
Seems like forever and a day has kept at bay
Love once had now distant, so far away

It's presence felt back then and now
As loneliness has made a vow
To keep what felt, what made you whole
Upon your soul, it took and stole

Then comes morning awake you do
Something seems different inside of you
Warmth is felt where cold did reign
Subsides the past you lived so vain

The look of love appears upon
Your face on mirror that you gaze on
You brush your face with hand across
This feel today you've found once lost

Age we do but loves forever
This sentiment that time once severed
If love you do, not lust you feel
This treasure yours, true sex appeal

Soft are kisses in arms now wrapped
No longer lost, no longer trapped
All yours to keep when find you do
The one you love that's right for you

The Look of Love you'll see in them
This look unlike now felt not then
Will change as promise has come to stay
To keep in you what went astray
