Another year has passed
without you in my life
Time doesn't lessen the pain
of a child lost
My Child, My Joey

Not a day passes when you
aren't on my mind, in my
thoughts, in my heart.
I play songs that remind me of you
Then cry because It hurts so much

How ironic this date is this year
But I am sure you already know
Your Grandmas Funeral service
is today too, overwhelming us
still stuck in this screwed up world

Double the pain, double the agony
I'm sorry I can't get to the cemetary
today, with your letter and balloons
but you know my heart is with you
your candle is lit on the wall.

I will see you tomorrow sweetie
Take care of your grandma
I know you two are walking
those streets of gold
hand in hand
