Concern about Lures

Tolerate some foolishness,
As I am sure that you will;
I assure you blessedness,
That into your soul does fill.

For just as God had promised,
A virgin to wed one man;
Who would be as the purist,
According onto His plan.

But the snake went to deceive,
The naïf woman by his tricks;
And convinced her to believe,
With his own brand of antics.

Temptation easily lures,
As your mind can drift away;
Because your weakness ensures,
To make you wander and stray.

Sincere and pure devotion,
To Christ is pushed to the side;
Like addiction to potion,
No desire to abide.

But there is a perfect cure,
When His Spirit enters in;
For cleansing and stop the lure,
That is causing you to sin.
