When Loves No More
Faded pictures of the past become
Whats left of things with that someone
You loved and held but time would come
To say goodbye, now all but done
We've wasted years, ten thousand tears
To heal this hurt, today I fear
We lost each other along the way
Today your heart like mine does pay
The cost too high a price to stay
Life's too short as yesterday
Became the blur of us not seen
In love back then once cherished dream
My heart and yours daily are battered
Appears it seems we never mattered
Where once we did now feelings scatter
For sanity and loves sake matters
We need not break away like this
But know even upon lips kissed
There's nothing there for years it's been
The count I've lost, a heartfelt sin
I raised your son, daughter called mine
Though they were his you'd only find
Fault in me throughout all time
Wish I could say that love is blind
No need to dwell for you need too
A better life, us not with you
Today I lift my arms to one
To bring this change to hearts undone
Wish I could break for good what ails
This heart of mine for love we failed
To keep in it that pains like yours
Like once upon a time, we both endured
