IN EACH NEW DAY
In the diffuse, azure of dawn,
in the hush of morning air,
I feel you there with me –
One spirit greeting the day
with a shimmering, soft light of joy.
In the lucent, golden noon,
in the radiant warmth of day,
I hear you speak to me –
Our thoughts converge in time
with an intimate, shining peace.
In the magenta twilight hour,
In the whisper of daylight's end,
I touch shared pieces of you –
Our truths spoken in heartfelt prose
with fervent, glimmering hope.
In the sultry, ebony midnight,
in the breath of evening's kiss,
I can sense your velveted need –
Our passion honey on the tongue
with glistening, ambered love.
In the colours of each new day,
in the moments just like this,
I want to give of my soul -
Our hearts entwined, in tune
with a glowing, heavenly bliss...
(each new day brings endless possibilities...)
