Loves Flight
She said she'd come so wait we do
On tarmac pace alone we view
Inside my head what if she fails
To show to leave on us she bails
My thoughts run wild where could she be
The best of her inside of me
Seems like she's changed her mind maybe
She wants not part, no part of me
The engines run and time will soon
Become too late and I will run
Alone without my new found friend
Maybe this way it had to end
She said she fell in love with me
Maybe not these thoughts crazy
Have made me feel she truly cared
Alone does knock upon heart bared
The captain says it's time to leave
How could this be? Was I deceived?
No that's not the way she'd say
Goodbye to me upon this day
I signal wait to him in blue
Wait we must, shes just overdue
She will come, just wait and see
She said she'd travel the world with me
One more minute we must take flight
As tears become what we now fight
Thinking how come, how could she say
She'd live with me till my last day
Turn I do towards aircraft door
Dragging myself as heart implores
Just wait one minute she'll soon arrive
As fate would have it, I'd be surprised
There she is running towards me
Her smile from distance is all I see
With nothing more than her Coach bag
In my arms now is her love tagged
I carry her through the jets door
Asking again no more implored
You sure you want to go with me
Her smile concurs my eyes would see
So fly we will and not look back
Enjoy each other and life we lacked
Before we came to know her name
Before now life forever changed
