What a day that forever changed history
The mountains shook
The ocean roar
The clouds turned dark
As they watched him die
TEARDROPS
Fell like rain from the sky
THE DAY Ten Thousands Angels Cried
Battered, with a Crown of Thorns
Nails in his feet and hands
Pierced, shamed. His arms
Stretched to the heavens
Tears blood
Pouring down on his face
Mocked, beaten, forsaken
THE DAY Ten Thousands angels cried
In his agony
Cried out
Why God have you forsaken me
Forgive them for they know not
What they do
All the angels could do
Is watch?
He could have called on them
All ten Thousands Angels
He did not
Bringing to completion
His plan for mankind salvation
THE DAY Ten Thousands angels cried
The sky turned dark
Rain began to pour
What seemed like rain?
Must have been angels tears drops
For all they could do is watch
Their King their Lord
Willingly die pays the price
For mankind he so loved
To be their Savior
He made a way
The only way
Jesus Christ
The ultimate sacrifice
The cross
Paid in full once and for all
He took away the sins of the world
