The unforgiving tides of time
have been horribly etched upon
her once lovely shining face.
Years of abuse and neglect have
destroyed every vestige of beauty
forever changing her glowing,elegant
appearance, yet I still see in those
terrible lines the heavenly beauty
of the woman that I so joyously wed
all those years ago,and love her just
as much now as I did way back then.
