The Same Attitude as Christ
Do you have to be encouraged,
To finally be acknowledged;
Being a follower of Christ,
And willing to be sacrificed.
Do you have a comfort from love,
That is flowing from up above;
Ensuring that you have the peace,
That is in your heart will not cease.
Do you have a relationship,
That gives you a spiritual grip;
With both the Father and the Son,
For everything they have done.
Do you show any sympathy,
To those displaying empathy;
And start to feel the compassion,
Of someone filled with depression.
Then become filled with the gladness,
That can overcome the sadness;
For the same love and attitude,
Will give you the same gratitude.
The same gratitude Christ has felt,
When conditions have to be dealt;
To humbly serve as He obeyed,
Till death on the cross that He paid.
