the luxury mobile

there was a car painted two tone green:
i called her my luxury machine:

push button transmission was in the front:
with my luxury car i'd do any stunt:
1962 that car was brand new:
dad got it second hand too:

it looked brand new in 1974;
for me i couldnt ask for anything more:
i was a king when i was behind the wheel:
to me that car was a really big deal:

dad would spend half a day when he would clean that car:
it was in tune so it would go far;
the luxury mobile was the dream of any teen:
and to this day its the best car i have ever seen:

there was a gear called over drive:
and when you hit it you knew you were alive:
100 miles per hour you could hit in a flash:
the luxury mobile never saw a crash:

once 16 people all rode inside:
after swim practide they asked for a ride:
it was kinda crowded but we made it through:
i guess as a kid it was something fun to do:

the luxury mobile was the best indeed;
on the road she always took the lead:
the upholstery was plad and green:
i was so very proud of my first car my luxury machine:
