~Shattered~

My mind has a thousand thoughts
headed for each other
On a collision course

To Hell

They meet in the center
Like glass shattering
into millions of pieces

Silence
But only for a brief second
All too brief

As each long shiny shard falls
around me
one by one
they stand at attention
pointed to the sky

Holding my mind prisioner

Light reflects off
of each sharp
pointed edge
Like tiny daggers

They pierce my heart
Blood slowly drips
From each piece

Each one shoving a thought of
Confusion
Sorrow
Pain
Hate
Depression
Wonder

At what I did to deserve this

As each thought slowly
takes its place back in my mind

Leaving me Shattered
Once More
