Fading Star
One day there you are the most sought after star
Whose performances and exploits filled stadium both near and far
But always remember your reign of fortune and great fame
Will be most certainly burning on a finite flame.
Yes enjoy that moment and time at the top of your game
In the meanwhile amass your fortune and most of it try to retain
Because that time will come, and I am sure you know by now
That whether you ant to or not; out from that stage you have to bow
In your progress try not to destroy people or forget old friends and relationships
Because those are some of the thing needed when you are down on those chips
And surly as the day come you cane be such a darling and a hero
Later perhaps in a few hours your actions can relegate you to zero
If the need arises never try to hinder anyone ‘s progression
That will to others depict a spiteful and selfish impression
If you thin that you degree of fame and popularity has taken a dent
Relax, look around you then of yourself see what you can reinvent
Remember there is nothing that says this is your position
That is why you have to be sharp and show that distinction
Understanding that there will always be some form of competition
This may keep you alert and shape and so you will be rated by public opinion.
Critique yourself and look for those signs of wearing and fading
That will be an indication that night is slowly approaching
