What Price Love
Change I would and not look back
To love again but cold are the facts
I'm not meant to love as you
Alone in life I must go through
Your name we paint with tears and sighs
Your name that gave me one last try
New for me for long it's been
So long ago, heartbreak my sin
Almost a joke bad one at that
Would come and stab me in the back
For love became the stuff dreamed of
But not for us we thought he loved
Soared my heart unlike before
Soared above and past the door
With the sign that read no more
At least for you in here once stored
Di sect I will this sentiment
For of no use is this torment
That rides my back and won't let go
Broken to hear Gods voice say no
It's not fair to her who can
Give of love to her the man
She needs in life, to call her wife
Above she is, so full of life
Give up what I've come to know
Turn in my heart to make it so
This pain that runs across my chest
For love today, mine must regress
I still dream of her who came
Who spoke of life to one insane
With hungry eyes inside of heart
Today blueprints I've torn apart
She is, will be the best of me
Who leaves more than a memory
Who lived right here where love once lit
Candle was she for soul unfit
