The Love Within Yourself
True love is of the heart
and it will usually stay,
it is not a single glance
from one who walks away.
There is meaning inside
that shows if you are true,
love is there in the mirror
where you see the real you.
This love within yourself
is like a bright and shining star,
you smile at your reflection
not aware of who you are.
You are the perfect person
and your hair is looking great,
take an even closer look
at what was once self hate.
Were there any reasons
when you hurt yourself before?
can't you see the good in you
that wants to be much more?
Understand your feelings
and the picture will be clear,
love shows in your reflection
when you look into the mirror.
