of our time.
May he rest in peace
knowing that some
of his words guided me thru
this little rhyme.
Inspired by his song-

may we all get along
1 day in perfect harmony!
a John Denver kind of day....
I'll walk with you in the storm side by side,
i'll cling to the hope of peace for all of man.
I'll pray so hard that hate has finally died,
i'll dream it more than anybody can.
And the breeze will whisper sweet peace to me,
all the birds will sing along in rhyme.
Trees will sway to kiss hate goodbye,
and a freedom song will chime.
God will be there when hate is around,
to hug away any doubt.
He'll proudly share with all
the hope that is found,
a reflection of what heaven on earth is about.
