Come to the Waters

Come, all you thirsty. Come to the waters
Bring Me your sons. Bring Me your daughters
Come, all you hungry. Come all you lost
But milk, honey, and bread at no cost
Why do you spend money on that which does not fill
And why do labor and receive no thrill
I have provided a way that no other could
Listen to me and come eat what is good
Come all and receive what I have to give
Give an ear, come to me and your  soul will live
I blessed my servant David, I will bless you too
People you do not know will come to you
They will see the glory of God shine from  all around
Seek the Lord while he may be found
Lay down your burdens and turn from your sin
And I will have mercy and welcome you in
My thoughts and not your thoughts, your ways not my ways
I dwell in the hearts of my people, I inhabit their praise
As the rain and snow waters the earth from north to south
So is My word that goes out from my mouth
It will accomplish what I desire, and my purpose it will achieve
It will never return home to me empty
You will go out in joy, and you will live in peace
I will give you a new song, your soul will rejoice
You are never to  far for Me to hear your voice
Call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved
The obstacles are removed, the way has been paved
Come, all you thirsty. Come to the waters
Bring Me your sons. Bring Me your daughters
