Don't worry about Them

People will always have opinions, they're ready to give advice
Some will tell you once, and some others more than twice
Graciously take the advice they have to give
But when it's all said and done it's your life to live
People will always want to judge
Stand firm on your belief and don't you budge
Although they seem to be concerned about you
You will find that's not always true
People will always have something to say
They'll swear that theirs is the better way
But they are human and make mistakes too
How is it that they know what's best for you
They're your goals, it's your vision
Just make sure you make an informed decision
Surround yourself with people who can respect that
Who when things go wrong, will still have your back
As for me, I like to pray and ask God to show me the way
Some people don't believe in God. Who am I to say
But if you are going to place faith in something else
You might want to make sure it's something bigger than yourself
As for people; well they will always be people
Except for minor differences, we all are equal
Set out in the direction you want to be in
People will talk, but don't worry about them
You don't have to please anyone else
Just make sure you are content with yourself
