THE ART OF BECOMING YOU
How sad the heart that cannot
let go of the past allowing
wounds and scars that
life's battles have left
to be healed by the
balm of love's
mercy!
Why do we cling so long to
the very thing that brings us
pain and sorrow, when
all we need do is let
it go, and face fear
armed with a
strength of
will?
When does one say enough
is enough and release the
chains that bind one's
hope, that imprison
one's destiny and
walk away into
the arms of
freedom?
What must I do to show you
that everything in life can
be yours for the taking
with only the courage
and faith in yourself
that God grants us
each day as His
promise?
Who will you be tomorrow
if you never try to claim
it, if you never let go of
minutes already lost
and open your mind
to possibilities
instead of
doubt?
Where will life take you
when you welcome in
why you were born,
who you can be and
how contented as
what you desire
then becomes
yours…
This is the art
of becoming
the real
you!
