She Often Cries
When the day turns dark
with storm clouds ahead,
when she feels depressed
and wishes she were dead.

When she's being left out
by those who hate and shun,
when the gossip that spreads
makes her want to run.
She Often Cries
When her friends tell lies
and she's falsely accused,
when in a bad relationship
where she is badly abused.
She Often Cries
When life treats her bad
and she feels that it's unfair,
when her Mother passed away
and in mourning she sits there.

Like the rain tears will fall
down cheeks that are red,
eyes that are swollen
with an aching in her head.
