Unspoken excuses, fragmented illusions
reality destroying each dream
nightmares still breathing , walls ever higher
understanding all that has been
heart aches, heart breaks…sinful collusions
decisions… weighing their cost
honesty mocking, laughter still lying
all that was this man, now lost
truth never answered, turning in circles
change every day goes unchanged
blue sky and rain clouds, stars in the night sky
feeling the life in me drained
hopeful conclusions, disappointment approaching
one more sigh that no one will see
questioning my existence, sunset getting lower
till simply I'll just cease to be!
