Give Thanks in Everything
There's so much to be thankful for
that the eyes don't always see,
I give thanks to many around
for the kindness they show me.
I am thankful for good deeds
in a world where hate has place,
for love and then forgiveness
that's among the human race.
May the beauty of each person
be seen in a positive light,
I give thanks to all on earth
that they may feel true delight.
Hidden deep inside the heart
there's good in every being,
when we notice all the bad
the good we are not seeing.
There may be evil out there
that tries to break a heart,
I've been blessed to see the good
in everyone from the start.
