The Love of a Teddy Bear
I made you a teddy bear
with a button for the nose,
the eyes are a cute blue
and he comes holding a rose.
He is a special teddy bear
as I tried to make him right,
I sewed love into his heart
that he keeps you safe at night.
You can squeeze him tightly
when you need a loving hug,
he will be there for you always
to keep you warm and snug.
He has the perfect smile
and he is a fluffy brown,
if you are ever in any pain
he can take away the frown.
When you need a friend
he will be there to listen,
there's a sparkle in his eyes
and in the light they glisten.
I made this teddy bear for you
that it takes away the fear,
I hope it brings you happiness
that will last throughout the year.
