True Feelings
Sometimes I don't know
how I really feel inside,
there is some confusion
that lowers my self pride.
When I think that I'm in love
it turns out to be wrong,
it's easy to say, "I love you"
but it doesn't last very long.
Some say love is a choice
but what about first sight,
when the moment gets you
that the feeling must be right.
I can still care for those
that I've never met before,
there's a feeling deep inside
that I really can't ignore.
I need to understand myself
and know how I really feel,
when the times are right
my emotions will be real.
