Fishing From Horseback

While I was out riding
my horse I call trigger,
I noticed the perfect fish
and it looked a bit bigger.

I thought I'd get my pole
and catch me that fish,
imagining the great meal
that would be on my dish.

I grabbed my fishing pole
and headed to the river,
there was a cool breeze
that gave me a shiver.

I rode my horse trigger
to that perfect spot,
I stayed on my horse
and somehow I got caught.

I was fishing from horseback
trying to catch that big one,
when the police came
I knew it was time to run.

With a fast gallop
my horse made its way,
a police chase had started
after fishing that day.

We were not fast enough
nor were we very smart,
the police caught me
and my pole fell apart.

I was given another ticket
and a fine I would pay,
I had broken the law
fishing horseback that day.
