Mental Confusion
Why do I feel so confused
when life is in plain sight?
I try to do the best I can
but it's hard to get it right.
I wander along a lonely road
in search of something new,
I feel lost inside myself
and I don't know what to do.
In many ways I cry for help
with a heart full of sorrow,
I'm still trapped in confusion
and I worry about tomorrow.
In my mind I often struggle
to know what's real and true,
I find myself standing there
without the slightest clue.
"What was I going to do?"
I question with a sigh,
another confused moment
where I just want to cry.
My head is in the clouds
and my eyes try to see,
I'm stuck in another world
where I struggle to find me.
