Poetic Verses
Fallen Family Tree
There was a beautiful garden
with a crooked family tree,
a few branches had fallen
where everyone could see.
There had been family fights
that caused the tree to lean,
it couldn't be easily fixed
with everyone behaving mean.
Divorce caused a slow crack
in a branch that soon fell,
it was not a happy moment
and everyone could tell.
Arguments rose up to heaven
and some feelings were hurt,
you have to know that God
saw the branches in the dirt.
Tears of heaven fell the day
a branch broke with such force,
this time it was disownment
not as common as divorce.
A family had fallen in shame
for the greatest sin on earth,
the tree was barely standing
and it showed no sign of worth.
Brought down by hate and anger
when it needed love and care,
the tree was getting weaker
with all the tension there.
Nobody seemed to care
so God knocked down the tree,
there was need for forgiveness
before it could grow happily.
Angels entered the garden
to spread some peace and love,
God also offered a blessing
through the beauty of a dove.
What they needed was a miracle
to help strengthen family ties,
where love could live again
without the rude goodbyes.
Problems were then faced
with emotions that were strong,
They worked their way through it
and were able to get along.
After many days of healing
to rebuild their family tree,
the heavens poured down light
and changes they could see.
The family became stronger
and their love began to grow,
they knew each other better
and true happiness did show.
