Heavenly Child
The heart of a child
is humble and meek,
the same Godly ways
in spirit we seek.
Like a child submits
to father with love,
a little Angel from
heaven up above.
The kingdom of heaven
is as the child,
on clouds of peace
loving and mild.
A child is innocent
and doesn't know,
the experience of life
helps him to grow.
A closeness to God
will comfort sad tears,
as with the child
that overcomes fears.
Knowledge is gained
and children learn much,
a child is protected
by an Angel's sweet touch.
