God's Guiding Whisper
I heard a faint whisper
with a feeling that was right,
I thought I heard my name
in the middle of the night.
I wasn't sure what to think
as I turned to look around,
nobody was there but me
and it wasn't a vocal sound.
It was more of an inner feeling
like a whisper deep inside,
communication through the spirit
is God's way to guide.
I opened up my heart that night
and righteousness came through,
I chose Jesus Christ, my Savior
to be an example in all I do.
It depends on the choice
whether promises are true,
you can't hide from your feelings
when God knows the real you.
