Double pneumonia
Double pneumonia
Doctors pleased
Treated and released
Out to dinner to celebrate
Suddenly I wheezed
My brother teased
Mind racing
Chest tightened
I was frightened
Muscles grew hard
Eyes darted
Conscious thought departed
Slipping into shock
Falling down
Of the wall I rebound
I gasped as I lay
Scream I tried
Had I died
A soft voice asking
Questions of me
An angel could it be
Firm grip on my arm
Holding me
Talking sweetly
It happened so fast
Finally I was back
