My Friend and Angel
Thank you for all you do
and for the care you show,
you have a warm smile
and you have a special glow.
You are like an Angel
that helps me in my life,
when I feel troubled
and during times of strife.
Just a smile and a wave
brightens up my day,
it brings me much cheer
and then I feel okay.
When I struggle to get out
and have some needed fun,
you help me face the fear
as you encourage me to come.
Life is not easy for me
and I know you have your share,
where things go wrong
and life doesn't seem fair.
I appreciate you very much
for all you've done for me,
you open up my eyes
to the things that I don't see.
When you're in a struggle
and need somebody there,
I will do the best I can
to show you that I care.
