Daydreams
Once upon the dark of night
my restless mind a wander,
over all the grassy hills
and mountains way off yonder.
Daydreams flow over valleys
and through the river's view,
deep in thought upon it all
my heart cries out to you.
I have come to my calm place
where I lay in thought alone,
in my heart many secrets
that may never become known.
Tears upon a windy sea
that reaches for someone,
a deep feeling in the air
is brightened by the sun.
You live inside memories,
that makes my life so sweet,
without you among my dreams
I am thinking with my feet.
