My type of Manager
If I had somehow become the manager of a large corporation
I think I would have instituted some changes in the position
My fist would be to dispense with the loftiness of the hierarchy
Let all act as a team, with a unified goal and in the premise of equality
Every week there will be some time for introspection
Look back and see where better and more efficient methods can be found
And at the end of each year's quarter the ill time for a session
Where we all will go out and meet for a time of recreation
Enhancing each worker with access to seminars and workshops
The availability to leaning and continuing education will never stop
So that everyone there and this most certainly include me
Must always enhance their knowledge skills and abilities
Will make it possible and even encourage any one
Who want to push further to acquire a higher education
And if they as part of their course there is that need later
Can even come and discuss with all if they are writing a paper
Will make an effort to open my doors to the trade union
Will from time sit with them and have some thought provoking conversation
Discuss matter like safety , and ways to ensure that the worker
To participate in profit sharing and also ways to become a shareholder
Never will I try to depressurized or stifle my competition
But will even open my door to them for some formal discussion
Hoping that we could look at ways to form a strategic alliance, and quite rightly
Because we want to make sure that our product is grounded in something called quality.
How can I forget the my main vein and survival the customer
I will always keep my ears open to their every matter
Listening and interacting with them and taking their ideas on board
And most certainly show how I appreciate them and not with mere words.
