My Best Friend, My Love
I like the way you talk to me
when I'm feeling blue,
I love the smile that you share
when I'm there with you.
You show me much love
in the words that you say,
you are the most kind
and it makes my day.
You are considerate
of me and my feelings,
you are there for me
through much of life's dealings.
I feel comfortable around you
and I know that you care,
we have much in common,
there's a bond that we share.
You are my best friend,
it is felt in my heart,
we are in a relationship
where we both do our part.
I'm forever thankful for you
and everything you do,
my love for you is innocent,
in my heart you remain true.
