Poetic Verses
My Dark Cloud
A dark cloud hovers over me,
tears fall down my cheeks,
I choose to be alone,
it has been a few weeks.
I hate myself for everything
that has happened in my life,
I pick up my broken mirror
its reflection carries strife.
The thoughts inside my mind
will not leave me alone,
drenched in my own sorrow
I will not talk on the phone.
A dead end is all I see,
my future is looking bleak,
I struggle with depression,
I feel low, unwanted and weak.
My room has become my prison,
fear inside raises my pain,
I hurt so bad inside myself
there is nothing left to gain.
tears fall down my cheeks,
I choose to be alone,
it has been a few weeks.
I hate myself for everything
that has happened in my life,
I pick up my broken mirror
its reflection carries strife.
The thoughts inside my mind
will not leave me alone,
drenched in my own sorrow
I will not talk on the phone.
A dead end is all I see,
my future is looking bleak,
I struggle with depression,
I feel low, unwanted and weak.
My room has become my prison,
fear inside raises my pain,
I hurt so bad inside myself
there is nothing left to gain.
