Lonely Dream
A few years ago I separated
and finally got divorced,
I have children with me
but visitation is forced.
I have to share my children
they go to see their Dad,
that leaves me alone
and feeling deeply sad.
Loneliness I feel inside
as I curl up on my bed,
I daze into another world
that lives inside my head.
There's not much to do
while alone in a dream,
most of the time I'm home
depressed and eating ice cream.
In my dream a broken heart
carries so much pain,
inside I feel the thunder
and my tears become the rain.
