Not Meant to Be
You don't even know me,
with pride you think you do,
that's why I acted as I did
and began to ignore you.
Our relationship came to an end,
I was always taking the blame,
it wasn't even my fault
I got tired of playing your game.
It just wasn't meant to be,
though I miss holding your hand,
your lies lost the moment
I hope you understand.
The memories I have of you
are not good at all,
instead of loving words
you tried to make me fall.
I'm glad that it is over,
the two of us no more,
it didn't even hurt
when you walked out the door.
