why do i write:
i write so i can see the light:
i write to express the feelings that i hide:
i write to restore to myself pride:
i write when i have no other place to go:
i write to try to pick me up whem i'm low:
i write to sort out thoughts in my mind:
i write so peace i can find:
i write to keep myself sane:
i write to keep on smiling through the rain:
i write because i know that i can:
i hope one day that my writing will be in demand:
a hit country song i hope to write:
and who knows i might:
i write to record the happenings of my life:
through good times and bad happiness and strife:
