Poetic Verses
Southern Utah, USA
In my town of peace and love
in the southern part of the state,
people are friendly all around
spreading love instead of hate.
An LDS church on almost every block
and the kids play safely by the street,
neighbors talk about what they heard
and new people we welcome and greet.
We care about each other,
and we help those who are in need,
always willing to lend a helping hand,
we find happiness in doing a good deed.
We have areas of land to explore,
some sites left behind by the pioneers,
through geneology we learn of our ancestors
and about all their struggles and fears.
Many people here enjoy the hikes,
they follow trails out in the hot sun,
grassy fields, flowers and big red rocks,
the great outdoors is a lot of fun.
A great place for others to visit
while on vacation or passing through,
you can even see old dinosaur tracks,
museums and sites that may be new.
