Poetic Verses
Little Red Ant
I knelt praying by my bed,
and saw a red ant on my arm,
I said, "Little ant please go away"
"Go find yourself a piggie farm."
Then all of a sudden a pinch,
and the ant stuck to my arm,
that little bugger bit me good
but it didn't bring me any harm.
Red and swollen on my skin
where I had felt that pinch,
I threw it across the room
getting rid of it was a cinch.
I learned a lesson from it all
never tell it where to go,
an ant doesn't care if the bite
is red and apt to show.
and saw a red ant on my arm,
I said, "Little ant please go away"
"Go find yourself a piggie farm."
Then all of a sudden a pinch,
and the ant stuck to my arm,
that little bugger bit me good
but it didn't bring me any harm.
Red and swollen on my skin
where I had felt that pinch,
I threw it across the room
getting rid of it was a cinch.
I learned a lesson from it all
never tell it where to go,
an ant doesn't care if the bite
is red and apt to show.
