Poetic Verses

Lost in Bloom

Grown in a garden
in a place for all to see,
my petals once blossomed
when you were here with me.

You left my side,
now beauty may not be,
my stem has fallen
I can't compare to a tree.

I hang down sadly,
broken hearted, wilted blue,
you were my strength
I once stood proud because of you.

You were picked by another
and left me hanging there,
my petals fell to the ground
deadened in deep despair.
