Bug and Spider Together
I saw a bug and a spider
crawling side by side,
was one the groom
and the other the bride?
It caught my eye
and it was very clear,
this cute little couple
brought me fear.
I looked at the shoe
that I was wearing
I was feeling nervous
while I was staring.
They crawled slowly
along the hard floor,
they stayed side by side
but I couldn't take anymore.
Congratulations!
is what I should have said,
my shoe came down
on the couple instead.
There was no time
for them to run,
the union was short
and the honeymoon done.
I put them in a tissue
and said goodbye,
flushed down the toilet
with a tear in my eye.
The moment was sweet
but it didn't last,
my foot came down
and it was too fast.
I may never know
what could have been,
for bugs and spiders
are at the foot of men.
