Poetic Verses
The Man of my Dreams
If I were looking for a man
my feelings would be true,
someone to spend eternity with
who is kind and loving too.
A man who loves God first
and respects all that I do,
one who would stay no matter what
and we'd often say, "I love you."
One with a gentle nature
and spiritual warmth he'd bring,
someone that I can adore
who will not accuse me of a thing.
A give and take relationship
that we'd share with God's pure love,
if any problems arise between us
there would be no push and shove.
If there is such a man out there
may God guide me to him please,
I wouldn't know how to find him
unless I prayed while on my knees.
I'd want to feel safe with him
and enjoy many thoughtful deeds,
guided by Angels from heaven above
we'd know each others needs.
