Strong Little Flower

Sweet little flower
among the bitter cold,
don't wilt in another's ways,
your stem can be bold.

Stand tall for right,
hold your little petals high,
you have a right to stand,
don't droop and say goodbye.

Some petals may fall all around
but your stem will remain strong,
look up to the shining sun
and you will not go wrong.

Bright and sunny for a while,
at times the clouds get dark,
hold on to that light inside
and it won't leave a mark.

You'll always be a cute little flower
standing tall on your own,
a little rain of faith and hope,
in the wind you can't be blown.
